Control Electrical Risk on Metallic Pipes

Purpose:

This course will provide the skills required to safe guard work on metallic pipes.

The skills and knowledge obtained in this course can be utilised to those working as field and 

operational staff with responsibility for the control measures of high risk electrical hazards. After 

sucessfully completing this course you can work independently under indirect supervision while 

performing routine tasks with a moderate level of complexity in a familiar context.

 

On successful completion of this unit you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.  This coure is a 

Nationally Accredited Course.

Pre-requisites & Course Requirments:

  • Photo ID must be presented ie current drivers licence or passport
  • Basic English language and literacy skills 
  • All participants must wear full PPE including long drill trousers,
           leather boots and 1000 volt electrical safety gloves
