Certificate III in Trenchless Technology

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working in trenchless technology in the Civil construction industry, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. The individual may provide theoretical advice and support a team.

Packaging Rules

he following provides the packaging rules for this qualification, followed by the list of relevant units of competency.

Total number of units = 26

18 core units plus

8 elective units, of which:

  • at least four (4) must be chosen from Group A, of which at least one (1) must be a trenchless technology (RIICTT) unit
  • at least one (1) must be chosen from Group B
  • no more than three (3) may be chosen from elsewhere within this training package, or from another
  • endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.

Vocational Outcomes

Successful completion of this qualification will result in the student receiving a Nationally Recognised Certificate from the Resources and Infrastructure Training Package issued by Pipeline Training Australia (RTO91431).
