Certificate III in Pipe Laying

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working in civil construction, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. The qualification applies to a specialist occupation in Pipe Laying. The individual may provide theoretical advice and support a team.

Packaging Rules

Total number of units = 25
7 core units, plus
18 elective units, of which:

  • Ten must be chosen from Group G
  • At least one must be chosen from Group H
  • At least three must be chosen from Group I
  • No more than four may be chosen from elsewhere within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.

Vocational Outcomes

Successful completion of this qualification will result in the student receiving a Nationally Recognised Certificate from the Resources and Infrastructure Training Package issued by Pipeline Training Australia (RTO #91341)
